The 52-year-old rapper and actor, whose real name is Trevor Smith Jr., was seen going toe-to-toe with a suited gentleman outside Detroit’s Metro Airport on Sunday, Oct. 20, video obtained by TMZ shows.
In the clip, Rhymes is heard repeatedly yelling “f*** you” to the man as they stand in a loading and unloading zone. “Do somethin’,” he tells the man.
He eventually turns to walk away before the video abruptly ends.
It was not immediately clear what triggered the tirade, and the audio does not catch what, if anything, the other man said.
A New York native, Busta Rhymes was born in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, and moved to Long Island’s Uniondale at the age of 12. He graduated from Uniondale High School in 1992.
Rhymes has released eleven solo albums, the most recent being “Blockbusta,” released in 2023.
He has received 12 Grammy Award nominations and has appeared in dozens of television and film productions, most notably 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection.
